The Amazon Basin Project is currently advancing the integration of the ARO with the Integrated Regional Information Platform on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in the Amazon Basin. This integration aims to consolidate data sourced from the Integrated Water Resources Monitoring System, which will aggregate information from all countries within the region. By centralizing this data on a single platform, the project aims to facilitate the generation of key indicators essential for informed decision-making, effective water resource management, and the conservation and protection of the Amazon Basin’s aquatic ecosystems. Additionally, this initiative will aid in ensuring compliance with international agreements pertaining to water resource management within the region.
