The Water Resources Module of the Amazon Regional Observatory (ORA) provides information on the status of water resources in the Amazon Basin in terms of supply, demand and water balance, water quality and others.
Information is available on the hydrogeochemical characteristics of the water, data on demand (water users, hydroelectric plants, etc.) and supply (water surface, floodable areas, annual precipitation, actual evapotranspiration), indicators of mercury contamination in humans and fish and Potential Organic Contamination Indicator, as well as information on the sources of contamination (oil plants, illegal mining, mining mines, agriculture).
