The Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) announces a call for proposals for specialized technical services from a Specialist in Climate Resilience and Methodologies based on the Water-Food-Energy and Ecosystems Nexus Approach, which will cover the eight ACTO Member Countries: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.

The consultancy will be carried out within the framework of the Amazon Basin Project – Implementation of the SAP. The objective is to strengthen regional capacities in the integrated management of water resources in the Amazon Basin, promoting cooperation among Amazonian countries to address the challenges of climate change and foster sustainability in the interconnection between water, food, energy, and ecosystems.

STAGES OF THE SELECTIVE PROCESS

a) Reception of proposals: from November 7, 2025, to November 21, 2025, until 11:59 p.m., Brasilia time

b) Analysis and qualification of consulting companies/institutions: from November 24 to November 28, 2025

c) Probable date for selection of the winning company/institution: 10/12/2025

d) Probable date for announcement of results and contracting: 19/12/2025

The total duration of the work is 14 (fourteen) months from the signing of the contract, and the expected deliverables must be presented according to the Implementation Schedule provided in the Terms of Reference (see below).
